ich dachte es wird mal Zeit wieder auf deinem Blog vorbei zu schauen und entdeckte dabei deine Rezi zum Buch. Ich selbst bin ein großer Horrorroman-Fan und konnte mich deiner Meinung nur anschließen. Ich ekelte mich auch ehr vor den Dingen im Buch, empfand aber nicht das Gefühl, mich unbedingt zu gruseln. Trotzdem fand ich die Ideen von Tanja echt toll, denn die hatte ich nun wirklich noch nicht gelesen. ^^
Falls du dich mal richtig gruseln willst, kann ich dir „Lost Souls“ von Thomas Finn sehr empfehlen. Beim Buch lief es mir eiskalt den Rücken runter und das am Tag. Ich werde vom Autor bald noch ein anderes Buch lesen und bin gespannt, ob er den selben Effekt nochmal erreicht.

Bei Klassikern The turn of the screw von Henry James, dann gefallen mir die Romane von Shirley Jackson sehr gut und ganz aktuell Hex von Thomas Olde Heuvelt.

Horror ist so schön vielschichtig. Subtiler Grusel oder auf psychologischer Ebene, das Spielen mit (Ur)Ängsten oder eben Brutal. Aber fein das es dir trotz deiner kleinen Kritik gefiel – ich finde es gibt viel zu wneig (zu mindestens mir bekannte) Autor*innen in diesem Genre und hab mit Tanja eine gefunden, die nun öfter bei mir vertreten sein wird. „Scream Run Die“ war auch feinst! Und nun ist „Zwietracht“ weit oben, vielleicht ja auch was für dich?! Tanja meinte das es dort mehr psychologischer Horror ist (=
